RJ Engineers is involved in the design and manufacture of EPD Collators, special purpose packaging machines for the pharmaceutical industry. The product is an electro pneumatic automatic quality control and collation system used in tablet / capsule strip packing lines. RJ Engineers plant is situated at Aurangabad in the state of Maharashtra, India, and about 350 KM away from Mumbai. The company began his operations is 1998. RJ Engineers has been consistently meeting or exceeding expectations of all of its customers.
The EPD COLLATOR is a machine which is coupled with the strip packing machine. The machine checks all the strips to ensure that it contains all the tablets, strips with even one empty pocket are rejected automatically. The good strips are collated in preprogrammed numbers, such as 10, and dispensed on to an indexing cartridge conveyor. This conveyor has been provided with cartridges to ensure that the bunch of collated strips do not mix with an adjacent bunch. The conveyor then carries the strip bunch to the packing hall where the packer picks up the bunch and inserts it into a carton. This carton is then placed on the carton conveyor ( provided optionally ) which carries it to the online coding machine |
